Clarke, Raval earn Knights Contracts

Local players Katene Clarke and Jeet Raval have secured contracts with the Northern Knights for the 2021-22 domestic cricket season.

Pukekohe Metro’s Clarke returns for a second season with the Knights after contributing in all three formats last summer.

Raval, the former test opener, transferred to Counties Manukau and the Manukau City club last summer and is once again offered a place in the Northern Districts set-up.

Counties Manukau local and Black Caps international Ish Sodhi is on a national contract but will also play for the Knights while fellow local Nick Kelly will be with Otago again.

Black Caps test star and World Test Championship Player of the Match Kyle Jamieson, who grew up in the region and attended Conifer Grove School and Rosehill College, will once again suit up with Auckland while on a national contract.
