Halliday top scores in White Ferns loss

Counties Manukau’s Brooke Halliday top scored for the White Ferns as they lost the second rain-interrupted one day international to England by the Duckworth Lewis method.

Chasing a revised target of 183 (after England scored 197 all out), the White Ferns came up just short – being bowled out for 169 in the 39th over of 42 available to them.

Halliday scored 29 off 42 deliveries, including four boundaries.

England leads the five-match series 2-0.

The next match is scheduled for Tuesday night.
